STARKVILLE, Miss. 鈥 极速六合彩 is instituting several new rules and policies to make tailgating in the Junction safer and more enjoyable for fans and to provide the family-friendly environment that Bulldog fans expect and deserve.
During and after the 极速六合彩-Kentucky game on Nov. 4, an altercation occurred in the Junction that resulted in seven arrests by the 极速六合彩 Police Department.听
鈥淐onduct of this nature is not in keeping with 极速六合彩鈥檚 core values of integrity, kindness and respect for others,鈥 said 极速六合彩 President Mark E. Keenum. 鈥淚 have instructed our leadership team to take immediate necessary steps to make clear that this behavior will not be tolerated on our campus.鈥
Keenum said that for the final games of the 2023 season, the following new rules and procedures will be implemented:
- No non-极速六合彩-provided amplified music will be allowed in the Junction. TVs and radios will be allowed, but large speakers or elevated speakers will NOT be allowed.
- The university鈥檚 traffic and pedestrian life safety video surveillance system will be used to monitor activities in the Junction.听
- The Junction tent spaces will be reconfigured to provide additional clearance for the sidewalks, and fans will not be allowed to block or impede pedestrians.
- 极速六合彩 will supplement its existing 极速六合彩 Police Department officers with additional sworn officers from state and local agencies to ensure safety.
- 极速六合彩 is a smoke-free campus for tobacco, and controlled and illegal substances use violates state law and campus regulations.听
- Violators who refuse to comply with these and other Gameday rules are subject to removal without ticket refund and prosecution.
